Dean McKay

Professional bio

I have provided professional advisory services with firms in Sydney and Melbourne since 2011, where I have successfully delivered a diverse range of projects spanning

· operational review,

· performance improvement,

· strategic and service planning,

· data / statistical analysis,

· project management,

· evaluation, and

· funding / costing / pricing model development and review.

Prior to my consulting career, I gained a detailed knowledge of government, governance and policy through six years with Victoria’s Department of Treasury and Finance.

This experience has instilled a broad skill base and a high degree of adaptability that allows me to address a wide range of public sector problems and deliver solutions that meet my clients’ needs.

My approach to work emphasises quality, responsiveness and is grounded in my investment in understanding the needs and style of my clients, stakeholders and colleagues. This investment is the cornerstone of my ability to foster working relationships that build trust and result in ongoing, mutual benefit.

I am passionate about achieving improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of public sector service delivery. To realise this vision, I started QA with the key aim of delivering high-quality, evidence-based advisory services in a way that is clear and easy to understand.
